WALLACE – Glen Henthorn, 79, of Rt. 1, Kingman, died at 7 p.m. Sunday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton where he had been admitted earlier that day after suffering a stroke. A farmer in the Wallace area, he had been employed by Harrison Steel Casting Co. at Attica and by DuPont at Newport as a security guard. Born Sept. 10, 1895, near Spencer, he was a son of Robert and Margaret Hostetler Henthorn. He was married to Lula Gooding of Wallace on Nove. 29, 1922. She died in April 1960. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mamie Rush of Michigan; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lucy Patton and Mrs. Madeline Detrich of Michigan; a half-brother, David Barringer of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with the Rev. John Foxworthy officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.   -– jlr
